Happy Belated Mothers Day!!
I had a very calm and relaxing day on Mothers Day. Jessica and Pat made me breakfast in bed and then the girls and I (Chelcy and Jessica) watched the movie 27 dresses. I finally got out of bed at noon and took a shower. Chelcy watched Jessica while Pat and I went shopping for dinner ingredients. We also went for a ride on the back country roads that he grew up on. It was fun and relaxing.
The girls made us turkey tacos and they were delicious. It was a wonderful day!!!

Happy No Sock Day

May8th happens to be No Sock Day. I guess Jessica will do just fine with this holiday as she very rarely wears socks or shoes!!

Meet Poco, he is Jessica's only younger sibling (so to speak) He has the life as you can see. He eats, plays, climbs trees, terrorizes the neighborhood and sleeps in my bed.

Today we are continuing our nature unit. I have incorporated a recycle and save our environment unit into this as well. Jessica is working on a recycling/ environmental poster and making a fossil out of clay.
